What a week. You ever have a time when you think everything is ok then bang, for no obvious reason, your mental health says otherwise?

Normally I get warning signs, but not this time. But I quickly put my peace first and did what I had to do to feel a little better.

I’ve noticed lots of content is created using AI. ‘Earth centred’ practices being advertised using AI which costs the earth. We store photos in the cloud, we scroll social media, we use digital design software. But using AI uses 10x more electricity, millions of gallons of water to keep the servers cool and uses intensive manufacturing for the chips.

AI can be fabulous for people who need a creative boost for the content but it’s all starting to look the same. And it’s not representative. Restaurants showing food they haven’t cooked, festivals showing dreamy surroundings that don’t exist.

From now on, I promise to create my own content that is real.

I’m rambling on about authenticity when this post is similar to one I saw this week. lol. I asked permission to share the same sentiment as it’s an important topic for me.

I’m not judging. I’m just giving you a promise that AI is not for me and I will continue to design my own ads. I like the creative process.
