Many garages get a CANbus fault code and don’t know where to start — and the 60Ω test at the DLC isn’t always accurate.

A quick scope test checks the physical layer in minutes: CAN shape/quality, dominant vs recessive, voltage levels and arbitration.

Use 4 channels (both ends vs the middle) to spot breaks and non‑responsive modules (often the cause), plus wiring, power/ground or termination faults.

What a weekend.

Up Your Business and Up Your Diagnostics 2026 was everything we hoped it would be: a sold-out event, brilliant people and a genuine spirit of betterment running through the whole day and after-event evening.

Thank you to every delegate who travelled from across the home nations to be with us. Thank you to our guest speakers for sharing your expertise so generously. Thank you to our support team, whose work behind the scenes made the day run beautifully and the hospitality second to none.

Together we also raised thousands for charity, which makes the day even more special.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we are already thinking about how to make next year even better.
