Hej from Sweden! 🇸🇪

For the month of June, our Bon Voyage journey has taken us to Sweden. We kicked off the month with a virtual tour of the famous Swedish Icehotel, and it was truly fascinating!

Some of our residents also enjoyed getting creative with arts and crafts, designing and making their own wonderful ice hotels inspired by what they had seen.

We can’t wait to share more of our Swedish adventures with you throughout the month as we continue to explore the culture, sights, and traditions of this beautiful country. ✈️❄️🇸🇪

Today, we marked D-Day by remembering and honouring the brave men and women who served during the Normandy landings and throughout the Second World War. 🇬🇧

Our residents spent time together sharing memories, stories, and reflections from years gone by, alongside watching D-Day documentaries.

The afternoon was rounded off with a cup of tea and a slice of cake, giving everyone the chance to continue reminiscing and enjoying each other’s company. ☕️🧁

Days like these remind us of the importance of preserving memories, sharing stories, and ensuring that the legacy of those who served is never forgotten. 🎖️

Pamper morning! 💅

This morning, our lovely ladies enjoyed some quality relaxation and pamper time, from gentle hand massages, manicures, and freshly painted nails.
Each of our ladies chose their own colour from the array of different colours to choose from. Some choosing a more bolder and bright colour, while others chose a more subtle shade. Conversation and laughter flowed.

🎶 Frankie Johns at Fairview! 🎶

What a fantastic day we’ve had with Frankie Johns at Fairview! From the moment the music started in Rose Garden this morning, there were smiles all around and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the home.

Residents enjoyed singing along to familiar tunes, tapping their feet, and sharing special moments together as Frankie brought energy and entertainment to every corner of Fairview. The fun then continued into the afternoon in Blossom Lounge, where the music, laughter and dancing carried on.

A huge thank you to Frankie Johns for another brilliant performance! 🎤💃🕺✨

Our residents donned their gloves and aprons, crushed biscuits, and mixed them with melted chocolate, golden syrup, butter, and marshmallows.

This afternoon at Crafty Corner, we got creative as we celebrated Pride Month together! Residents enjoyed making colourful rainbow pictures, fluffy pom poms and a wonderful rainbow banner to brighten our home. 🎨✨

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and enjoying an afternoon full of colour, creativity, and laughter. We love celebrating a month that encourages kindness, togetherness, and being proud of who you are. 🌈💛
