A night in living alone with a disability in a one bedroom house

After staying inside for about 3 days I decided to go out and do something. Headed to Asda and did one of my favourite activities....window shopping 🥰

Had a lot of fun even if I didn't buy anything (except some flowers)

Why is everything so expensive!?

I couldn't believe the price when I seen this.

Living on your own is so expensive as it is and costs are going up so quickly it feels impossible to stay on top of yourself

I haven't left my house for 3 days so I jumped in my car and headed to Asda for a browse and ended up disappointed by the pyjamas selection...so I bought myself flowers to cheer me up because no one else buys them for me 🤣🥰

Do you ever find that being cooped up inside for a few days makes you feel a bit... weird? 😂 Like nothing is actually wrong, but suddenly you NEED to leave the house, even if it's just to wander around a supermarket looking at things you absolutely don't need.

One thing I've definitely learnt from living alone is that sometimes I have to motivate myself a lot to get out...but once I do I always feel better for it

Easy 10 minute Mediterranean Diet lunch recipe

Ingredients:
400g chickpeas
225g diced cucumber
150g cherry tomatoes, halved
1 thinly sliced red onion
Tzatziki dressing
Feta cheese

Optional:
Fresh parsley
Lemon wedges

Please don't let me pick the wrong colour!

I got back from B&Q really late so we will need to check it in the morning to see if the colour is any good

1st - Farrow & Ball Nancy's Blushes
2nd - Valspar Petal Grove
3rd - Dulux Pressed Petal
4th - Farrow & Ball Deep Blush (I said the wrong one on the video)

I think I have a favourite...Which one would you pick?

Why does my house end up looking like this every week? 😭

Here is another night in living alone with a disability in my one bedroom house. I had a doctor's appointment and when I came home I had zero motivation to do anything...
I try my hardest to stay on top of housework but every week I swear it ends up looking like this by Friday

Chicken, cous cous and tzakziki for tea (and I added 3 left over chips because I was feeling hungry) and then I thought a film would be a good idea but instead I ended up doomscrolling all night 🤣 don't judge me!

This is my first time living on my own. I moved into a one bedroom house and I'm on a mission to turn it into my dream girlie home. I also have Multiple Sclerosis so painting, drilling and decorating is not my strong point 🤣

The most I've done is paint my bedroom (before I moved in) and the bathroom

But there's no pictures on the wall, nothing is personal to me, decoration is minimal and it feels like a house rather than a home...so if you want to watch me attempt to make it more girlie, personal and fun...follow along.

Paint from B&Q and Gabor was the nicest and most helpful customer advisor ever 🧡

Room currently being worked on is my office...obviously going for a pink vibe 🥰
