I am a firm believer in continuity in our business , you call our number you get me ( Farquhar ) you ask us to come to collect your loved one 90% of the time you get me and one other , you call to arrange a meeting to talk about the funeral and that meeting will be with me . On the day of the funeral when we turn up at the church or venue it will be me and my fantastic team that I have had since day one . No changes in staff or principal for nearly 10 years now .
Continuity is everything when dealing with people at their lowest point.

We are constantly re investing in the funeral service we offer to you our families , we finally found 2 brand new 4 wheel drive private ambulance which are being delivered next week . This will allow us to serve our families no matter the conditions safely and on time .
Photos will be posted once they have both arrived and have been to our friends at Acorn to be adorned with our famous bridge logo .

Where has the time gone ? This year will mark 11 years since I bought the building here in Broadford and converted it in to a funeral home where I also live meaning I am on the premises whenever I am needed to support my community. In that time I have been humbled by the support shown by the people of Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross . Farquhar is currently the longest serving full time funeral director working and living on Skye . Two of my team David and Cameron have been with me since day one and we were later joined by Andrew , I am so blessed with my team we all work together and I could not ask for better so a huge thanks from me to them .
We hope to serve for many years yet as the only family owned independent funeral directors on Skye .
