Sonia leads her role with enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine commitment to improving the daily lives of our residents.

We are so proud that she has been recognised for her dedication to The Cotswold Home, and for all the work she puts in to create a varied activity programme personalised to our residents’ individual interests and needs.

Today in Biography Club, we focused on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II. It turned out to be an exceptionally special session!
​A few of our residents brought along the actual cards they had received from Her Majesty for their 100th birthdays and 60th wedding anniversaries. Sharing those treasures with the group sparked so much pride, fond reminiscing, and meaningful discussion across the room.
​Moments like this are a powerful reminder of how personal history intersects with national history, and why tailored reminiscence groups are so valuable for resident wellbeing. 📖❤️

🐍 🐸 A wildly special afternoon! 🐶🪳✨
​Talk about an incredible experience! This afternoon, we hosted our very own exotic animal encounter right here at home.
​A massive thank you to our brilliant Food Service Assistant (FSA), Kayleigh, who brought in a huge variety of her OWN pets to share with us! We got to meet all sorts of fascinating creatures—from snakes and toads to cockroaches, dogs, and even a unique sphynx cat!
​Our residents loved learning all about them, getting brave, and seeing a whole different side to our talented team. Thank you so much, Kayleigh, for such an unforgettable afternoon! ❤️🌟

Yesterday, we celebrated National Cupcake Day the best way we know how—by getting stuck into some baking!
​Our residents had a fantastic time whipping up a delicious batch of cupcakes. Once they were freshly baked and decorated, we even popped into the GM’s office to deliver one directly to his desk! Safe to say, it got the official seal of approval! 😋☕❤️

We’ve had a fantastic weekend enjoying the cooler weather! Between strategic games of Qwirkle and a cozy Film Club showing of Driving Miss Daisy, we also spent quality time with residents during 1:1 room visits, and our mobile shop trolley made its usual popular rounds for sweet treats and essentials! 🛍️🍬
