And just like that the Pips Play Tots are back in the room! 😍

Today's theme was inspired by Literacy Week and Roald Dahl Day, exploring letters and the stories we create with them.

After some singing and moving our bodies we went on a letter hunt around the room, matching shapes and letters. Then I gave everyone a piece of paper with their name on, and they used the session moving between play areas to find the letters they needed to spell their name - we had so much fun!

We hunted for magnetic letters using tongs in coloured salt and stuck them to silver trays, we used diggers to search through the dairy free cocopops, we used nets to catch letters in the alphabet soup, and there were even more letters hidden in the lentil, rice and chickpea tray!

Such a gorgeous session with everyone engaged and playful - looking forward to doing it all over again with my Friday group! There are 2 spaces left for any little ones aged 1 to 3 years of age (inclusive) if you would like to join us this term 💛

Oh my days you sold out my Monday classes, thank you! This is your last chance to grab a Tuesday slot before this beautiful term begins!

🍂 Pips Baby Massage crew, this week you will learning how to give your little ones an oxytocin boosting leg massage and reflexology to help alleviate some of those early ailments such as wind, constipation, teething and congestion.

🍂 Piplings we will be singing and stretching our bodies before enjoying free play time around the theme of books following last week's literacy day and this weeks Roald Dahl Day! 📖

🍂 Pips Play Tots you are also exploring books and letters this week, with lots of activities to practice letter recognition and explore bilingual books! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

If you're feeling nervous please know that classes are relaxed and friendly, and you can take them entirely at your own pace - your little ones are free to cry, feed, poo, and do all of the things that babies do!

Lots of my Monday tots have been with me since they were bumps and will be turning 3 and 4 over the course of this academic year, so I am bringing in even more opportunities for letter recognition, mark making, hand strengthening and counting activities into our play activities to help build some strong foundations for when they move on... although none of us are talking about that 🥹

I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! x

Welcome emails will be going out tomorrow morning to everyone booked on to this term of classes, and I am really looking forward to welcoming you all along 🤩

November classes will go live once this term is underway - I can hardly believe that these will be the final two terms of 2026, where has the year gone?!

Lots of fun to have in the meantime, so come and play! Xx

Bore da Cuppa Clubbers! The car is loaded and I'm on my way to set up, just pop in to Portskewett and Sudbrook Recreation Hall between 10am and 11.30am for a hot cuppa and a catch up - I'm bringing along some of my tummy time resources for the more wriggly babies, so if you came along to my workshops this week it's a great opportunity to have a closer look at some of them 😊

If we haven't met before, I'm wearing a pale blue long sleeved top and black trousers - I will probably be in the kitchen when you arrive so come and say hi and I can make sure you are settled ☕️💛
