BSL Education Welcome to our alternative provision in Calne, Wiltshire! We offer a unique and individualized approach to education for children aged 4-13 years.

We provide a supportive and nurturing environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Blue Sky Learning was founded as an alternative educational pathway for students who find mainstream education challenging due to their social, emotional and mental health needs. We believe in giving our students a bespoke, kinaesthetic approach to enable them to access learning at their own pace and achieve success.

From 15th to 21st of June, we support organisations across the UK in recognising Learning Disability Week and this year's theme, "Do You See Me?"

At BSL Education, we believe every young person deserves to be seen, heard, valued, and supported to reach their potential.

This week is an opportunity to celebrate strengths, challenge misconceptions, and raise awareness of the different ways young people learn and experience the world. This includes those with learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other additional needs.

This week in PSHE, pupils explored the theme of people who are special to us. ๐Ÿ’™

Together, we shared the story " I Love You, Stinky Face" which sparked lots of laughter and discussion as we explored the different scenarios in the book.

The session encouraged pupils to reflect on the important people in their lives and what makes those relationships special. It was lovely to hear pupils talking about family members who mean a lot to them and why they feel valued and supported.
