🧠 Today is World Stroke Day.

A stroke is a medical emergency, and recognising the warning signs quickly could help save a life.

Remember B.E. FAST:

Balance – sudden loss of balance or dizziness
Eyes – sudden blurred vision or loss of sight
Face – has one side of the face drooped?
Arms – is there weakness in one arm?
Speech – is speech slurred or confused?
Time – call 999 immediately if you notice any of these signs.

Knowing what to look for means you can act quickly when every second matters. Please share this post and help more people recognise the signs. 💚

This November, let’s get talking about men’s mental health.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is an important reminder that recognising the signs, starting conversations and knowing how to offer support can make a real difference.

This November, Wiltshire First Aid Training is running two Mental Health First Aid courses in Calne, designed to help people build the knowledge and confidence to recognise when someone may need support.

🧠 Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)
📅 4th & 5th November 2026 | £240

🧠 Level 2 Award First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)
📅 10th November 2026 | £120

Both courses run from 9am–4pm at Carlton Business Centre, Calne.
