"From the very first phone call taking mum's plan out, to the sad collection of my mum, every step of the way was respectful and caring. Mark, our undertaker, made a horrid situation dignified and respectful. Maxine was so helpful, genuinely caring and thoughtful every step of the way. Mark returned Mum's ashes promptly and with great care and compassion. Maxine stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process. Distinct Cremations certainly made a sad and difficult time special for myself and family. So much so that I have just taken a plan out for myself with Distinct Cremations. Knowing that my children will be in good hands when the time comes gives me peace of mind."

FAQ: What is the difference between a direct cremation and a traditional cremation?

A direct cremation is a worry-free, affordable alternative to a traditional cremation, without a procession, service, mourners and viewing of the deceased. Though the cremation is unattended, the deceased is still treated with the highest level of care from beginning to end. A direct cremation is also the least expensive funeral option costing just £1,350 with Distinct Cremations. A traditional cremation on average costs £4,200.*
