We've built a close-knit team, a reputation we're proud of and relationships with patients that mean an enormous amount to us. Finding the right person matters far more than simply filling a vacancy.
First and foremost, you need to absolutely LOVE hearing aids.
Prescribing and fitting private hearing aids will be the heart of this role. I want someone who enjoys the technology, the problem-solving, the counselling and those brilliant moments when you realise you've genuinely changed someone's life. Someone who sees the person, not just the audiogram.

We provide comprehensive audiological assessments for ENT consultants in Cardiff's private sector, work extensively with the music industry (so you'll need to love taking impressions for in-ear monitors and filtered earplugs!), and have an established tinnitus pathway.
You'll need a strong clinical background, sound judgement and experience in private audiology. Those are essential.
Beyond that, I'm looking for someone who's self-motivated, adaptable and thinks laterally. A natural communicator who can put anyone at ease, whether that's a nervous patient, an ENT consultant or a touring musician.
Someone who sees audiology as a vocation, treats patients like family and is a genuine cheerleader for their colleagues. Someone who takes initiative, brings ideas and cares for the practice as though it were their own.
We're a small team, so trust, kindness, enthusiasm and a willingness to muck in really count. I want someone who's excited about their own development and ours.
