Through generations of leadership and an ongoing commitment to patients, Chalmers has built a reputation for thoughtful care, tailored solutions and long- standing relationships that span families and decades. It’s a legacy that now sets the foundation for the practice’s next chapter of growth and reinvention, bringing together respected local opticians under new ownership and a refreshed vision, helping further engage our current and new customers. In 2026 we incorporate with Beresfords Opticians, merged and created a state of the art purpose built practice on Wellfield Road, just around the corner from our long term home on Albany Road. We believe this new beginning finally gives Cardiff the independent optometry practice it deserves.
