Our very own David Evans had his last day today as a Crematorium Assistant.
After 6 years of dedicated service and over 30 years of playing the organ at the Crematorium he is relocating and hanging up his cremating PPE!

On a professional note many people will know him as the dedicated professional who has overseen thousands of funerals and looked after many families loved ones. His green fingers have improved our grounds no end and we will endeavour to uphold his hard work.

On a personal level he has been just as dedicated and many can say he has helped them along their grief journey always going above and beyond. Our families will miss him and our team wont be the same without him.

Always a familiar face on site. We will miss him immeasurably but he has promised that he won't be a stranger!
