Nathan was getting back into his photography yesterday morning and then using his photos to make a beautiful collage which will be displayed at the Creative Revolution Chesterfield event in Staveley that we are part of next Saturday. Come and see Nathan's collage in for yourself

We're thrilled to share the Monkey Park team at finalists for the Dimensions Leaders Awards!

People from lifelong learning hubs across Chesterfield came together with a simple idea: use their skills and interests to do something positive in their local community.

The result was Soup and Chat, a welcoming community café using surplus food to create affordable lunches, reduce waste and bring people together.

Their nomination highlights the partnerships, friendships and opportunities that have grown from those Tuesday afternoons, along with the warm welcome that keeps people coming back.

Last month we had a Staveley Birthday Bar, to celebrate the May birthdays we had the pub at the hub with games, Jayne was a natural land lady, everyone loved it 😁 anyone else celebrated a birthday this may?

It’s , many people can be carers without even knowing it, it’s just part of daily life! But what you do to help and support is vital, never underestimate that!

Many adult siblings don’t recognise that they’re a carer for their disabled or neurodivergent brother or sister, because they see themselves as ‘just helping out’. But is it more than that? Would you need to ‘help out’ if they didn’t have a disability? Recognising yourself as a sibling carer is not only validating, it can also help you tap into more support. Read more at
