Op COURAGE is an NHS mental health service for veterans (no matter how long ago you served), service leavers, and reservists that is available across all regions of England.

In the South East it is full 360 support, not just Mental Health. Housing, financial and anything else you need support with.

The first call is the toughest... reaching out. Make that call.

This is not 6 counselling sessions with a therapist, this is the full person centred approach with a team of people looking out for you to make sure you're on the right path. It could be simple, it could be complex, they've got you from the start and have you as long as it takes, even if it takes years.

Don't struggle. Reach out.

Please do also make sure we are aware you are a veteran- we will put it on your medical records so you get access to the right support and services.

Read about mental health support for veterans, service leavers and reservists, including specialist services and charities.

Have you heard of the Men's shed movement?

Men’s Sheds are places for men and women of all ages and from all walks of life. They exist to provide ‘Shedders’ with a community space in which they can come together, create and socialise.

Men typically find it much harder to form social connections than women and so sheds were originally created to combat isolation and loneliness, bringing people together in a safe and engaging environment.

Chichester Men’s Shed is a space for everyone with a range of activities to benefit its members, maintain their health and wellbeing, combat isolation and loneliness, make friends and enjoy working and socialising with likeminded others on a range of projects: personal, for the community and for the benefit of Chichester Men’s Shed.

Chichester Men's Shed is open every Monday and Thursday morning between 9.30 and 12.30. Do you or someone you love need to visit?

Join Chichester Men’s Shed to enjoy community activities, projects, and socializing. A welcoming space for men and women over 18 supporting health, wellbeing, and friendships.
