I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.
So many small handmade businesses are quietly closing. Not because they don’t care, or aren’t talented, but because the numbers just don’t add up.
When you see a price on something handmade, you’re not just paying for materials. You’re paying for time, skill, experience… and usually someone working in every spare moment they have.
I think people do value handmade, but not always enough to sustain the people making it.
And that’s the really sad part.
To everyone who has ever supported my little business, ordered, shared, liked, or even just followed along, thank you. It genuinely means more than you probably realise 🤍
And to other makers feeling this… you’re definitely not the only one.
