A bunch of our members had a go at the Barbell Step Through Challenge… and safe to say there were some mixed results! 😂👏

Plenty of laughs, plenty of questionable flexibility (or technique 🤔), and some awesome impressive efforts too.

That’s what Body Reach is all about!!

Turning up to work on yourself, getting a little better each week, and having a good laugh along the way.

Now we need another challenge…

Any ideas for what we should tackle next at Body Reach – Beyond Gyms? 👇

I’d love to see the 10,000 people study on this Thor’s hammer barbell challenge 👀 🤣

Always a good laugh though.

I guess I’m worthy.

Are you? 😅

Try it and tag us 💪😜

Training as a parent is actually about much more than ‘just me’… 🪫

It’s about having more energy to play, more strength to pick them up, more fitness to run around with them, and more headspace so you can come home with a bit more patience.

You don’t need to be perfect.

But your kids benefit from the version of you that feels stronger, fitter, calmer and more capable.

The best you!! 💫

Leading by action.

You got this 👊

Our classes aren’t random workouts 😵‍💫

They’re structured so your training actually adds up across the week.

A useful starting point for many people is around 10 quality sets per muscle group per week — but those sets need to be hard enough, coached properly and spread sensibly.

You don’t need to calculate all of that yourself.

That’s what coaching is for.

Random workouts make you tired.

Coached training moves you forward.

Message START if you want your training structured properly.

Think of it like this…

One step through the door.

That’s all we’re focusing on 🦶🏻

Not getting fit first.
Not knowing every exercise.
Not keeping up with anyone else.
Not suddenly becoming a gym person overnight.

Just one step.

And yes, you might feel nervous.

But nerves and excitement can feel very similar in the brain 🧠

So maybe instead of telling yourself, “I’m scared,” you tell yourself:

“I’m excited because I’m finally doing something for me.”

That simple first step could change everything 🌱

Let’s be excited 🥳

The treadmill isn’t the problem.

But if you only use it because everything else feels intimidating, confusing or awkward, then you deserve more support.

A lot of people don’t hate gyms.

They hate feeling lost in them.

That’s why coaching matters.

When someone shows you what to do, helps you choose the right weights and explains the session, the whole environment feels different.

You stop guessing.

And confidence starts to grow.

Have you ever stuck to cardio machines because you didn’t know what else to do?

This week’s task team 😂

For anyone else who fancies a go, record it and give tag …even if you can’t do it 😜

It’s honestly weirdly difficult 🫯

Happy Sunday funday!

Fat jabs aren’t enough ❌

They can help some people control appetite and lose weight.

But they don’t automatically solve the root cause.

If body fat has come from overeating, poor habits, low activity or not understanding nutrition, you still need to learn how to create a calorie deficit and maintain it.

And even if the weight comes down, a jab doesn’t give you:

Bone density.
Muscle.
Shape.
Heart health.
Fitness.
Technique.
Coordination.
Confidence.
Better habits.
Or that feeling of achievement when you’ve actually done something hard.

Weight loss is one part of health.

But your body still needs the right inputs to grow, adapt and thrive.

Water it.
Give it sunlight.
Train it.
Feed it properly.
Let it grow.

Don’t short-change yourself.

You deserve more than just a smaller body.

We don’t change workouts every week just for the sake of it.

At Body Reach, our members follow training blocks for around 6–8 weeks because that gives you time to actually learn the movements, improve your technique and get stronger in them.

Random workouts might feel exciting, but if everything changes constantly, it’s hard to build confidence, track progress or lift well enough to get stronger.

We repeat movements long enough for your body and brain to adapt — then we change the block, add new exercises and build from there.

That’s how training becomes progress, not just exercise.
