Steps slightly higher this week, averaging just over 6k a day.

Hips are doing okay, still getting frustrated trying to get my gait correct!

This is definitely me at the moment!...my memory is shocking!

Had a plumber visit the house earlier and I needed to unlock the front door for him. When it came time for him to leave, I couldn't find the keys to let him out 🫣...he had to help me find them 🤣

Does hip surgery effect memory?...or maybe I am now starting to navigate the 'joy' of menopause!🙄

1.1lb down this week!

I've not been overly hungry this week, which is a bit odd as I believe i've been hungry my entire life 🤣

I was intending to stay on 2300 calories a day for another few weeks, but this week it dropped to around 1950 a day

Hip recovery seems to have taken a turn for the better too 🥳 6 week check up on Tuesday, for my right hip!

I had better control on calories and tracking this week. My average calories were down by around 300 a day on last week....

I had better control on calories and tracking this week. My average calories were down by around 300 a day on last week.

My weekly average weight stayed the same, which I'm fine with. The goal is still currently to eat enough to repair and recover.

Trying to learn to walk with a correct walking gait is tough and tiring, so steps are only around 4k a day.

I'm sure it will all come together in the end, but it's all feeling a little hard going at the moment!🙄

0.3lb gain this week, I could blame the heat, and the salty foods I've eaten which gave me a spike of 2.3lb yesterday morning.

But if i'm honest, i've also over eaten on a couple of days, (mainly due to extreme tiredness) which put my daily average calories at just over 2400 (goal is 2300)🫣

My range of movement in my right leg is improving (as far as the post op restrictions allow!)
Really looking forward to the day I can go back to eating in a deficit, and start exercising properly again!

184 calories for these 2 squares 😮...in my opinion, it isn't worth the calories..would love to get a calorie refund for this 🤣
