Lost 0.4lb this week on an average of 1445 calories, but I have been feeling totally exhausted, very hungry, completely spaced out, and struggling to concentrate on my studies, and in all honesty everyday life π
Although this deficit is providing an average lost of 0.75lb a week, I think its too aggressive for the physical and mental stresses my body is under currently.
I need to remember i'm still recovering from bilateral hip replacement, and although the external scars are healed, the internal work of bone and muscle repair will be ongoing for a year or so, and my body needs significant energy for this.
I'm also putting my body under further cognitive stress with studying for my AAT qualification and my upcoming new job as a Finance Manager.
I desperately want to lose the 16lb i've gained, but not at the expense of my health and wellbeing. So i'm going to increase my calories to 1600/1650 a day to see if it helps. (i'll still be in a deficit but it won't be so aggressive)
My partner and I now have a week off, before I start the new job, so i'll likely exceed my daily calories this week, as you can't have a week off without cake and treats π€£
