Today has been a day of much needed self care…..first a haircut with gorgeous Bec at followed by the most blissful Indian Head Massage from lovely Gemma at (highly recommend this if you haven’t yet experienced it!) - thank you ladies for making today a very good day! And thanks Dan & Fran for treating me to my voucher!!

Vulnerable post time! I am so looking forward to coming back and sharing my sound journeys with you all but in all honesty, I am equally feeling quite apprehensive and vulnerable 😌
I don’t think I realized quite how much my illness has knocked my confidence and I guess I’ve been able to tuck myself away in my own little safe space for quite a few months now. As the time draws nearer to get back out there my emotions are taking me on a real roller coaster ride and the imposter syndrome is right up there vying for space with the excitement! This last few weeks I have returned to my shruti box (which has been gathering dust in the spare room for the last year or so!) and mantra and I’d forgotten just how powerful it is to spend time chanting daily. I have chosen the Ganesha mantra ‘Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha’ - Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and to help remove energy blocks 🙏 Slowly and gently I am feeling the imposter syndrome and anxiety feelings decreasing and my confidence in myself and excitement to be back increasing. This again really reinforces the amazing benefits of sound on the brain and the nervous system and I am so grateful to be able to practise this 🙏
So just a little reminder today to be gentle with yourself and treat yourself with the love and kindness you show to others, life out there is tough and we are all walking the same path doing the very best we can.
Looking forward to seeing you soon and until then you will find me tucked away in my safe space chanting to Ganesha! 💖🙏💖

Lakeside Escape at Plantations Lakes is truly a magical place to

Today I have been feeling just really kind of ‘off’…..hard to put into words as I didn’t feel sad, angry, low, unwell or any other feeling I could put a name to but I just knew I felt ‘off’ 😌 So, despite the rain, I put a flask of tea, some biscuits and my kenari seed shaker in my rucksack and headed off to the woods! A long walk and I ended up at my most favourite Beech tree where I sat for an hour listening to the birds joining in with my shaker, grounding and enjoying a lovely cuppa……sometimes it’s the simplest of things that can turn your day around and nature always does that for me…

So excited to say plans have now been finalized and dates booked in the diary for our events throughout the year at the wonderful Lakeside Escape at Plantations in Kingston Seymour! 💚
Lucy and James have worked so hard to build this amazing calm space in nature and and I am honoured to be teaming up with them 💚
Our first event is our Summer Solstice Celebration on the 19th June which has filled up so quickly and there is now just 1 space left 💚
We will then be hosting monthly Gong/Sound Immersions followed by connection/reflection around the fire pit with refreshments - from 6.30-9pm, exchange £25 on 8th July, 5th August, 21st October and 18th November 💚
We also have planned a special Retreat Day from 10-3pm on Friday 11th September, exchange £70 to include a Forest Bathing session, lunch, Sound Immersion and Firepit connection + refreshments and plans are underway
for a Winter Solstice event in December 💚
All these events will be held in the lovely new Geo Dome or outside weather permitting, you will also have access to a big part of the site and the space will be open and available for you to come down early and spend some quiet time before we start 💚
My monthly events in Tickenham, Nailsea, Portishead and Congresbury will all be running as usual as well as this new space in nature and I’m really looking forward to the rest of the year and all the beautiful offerings coming up! 💚
