What better way to celebrate than a trip to Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot? Our brilliant team at High Brake House pulled out all the stops — lovely outfits, great company, and of course, a glass of bubbles and a generous helping of Eton Mess to top it all off!

🎯 With the Great British weather doing its usual unpredictable thing this week — one minute sunshine, the next a downpour — our wonderful residents weren't going to let a few heavy showers dampen their spirits! ☔😄
They've been having a lively game of indoor ring toss, with some seriously impressive throws on show! It's been full of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of cheering each other on — exactly the kind of afternoon that makes High Brake House such a special place to be.
There's always something going on here, whatever the weather throws at us! 🌈

We're thrilled to announce our brand new lift has been installed — making it easier than ever for our residents to move safely and independently between floors. A small change with a big impact on everyday comfort and accessibility! 🛗✨
And we're not stopping there… we're now turning our attention to our dining room renovation, giving our residents an even more wonderful space to enjoy their meals and company together.
It's amazing to think that our home, over 100 years old, continues to grow and improve while still holding onto its character and charm. From its early days as a Doctors house in Clitheroe to the welcoming, family-run care home it is today — we're proud to keep moving forward while honouring where we've come from.

This week celebrating carers week, we will be introducing our teams from all over our home. You may not always see them but they are hugely important in keeping our home running smoothly. We sat down and said a huge thank you to our wonderful housekeeping, kitchen, laundry, office, nutrition champion and hairdresser today. Thank you for everything you do at High Brake.
