📢 PRACTICE CLOSURE NOTICE

Please be aware that the practice will be closed from 1:00PM tomorrow, Tuesday 8th September 2026, for essential staff training.

We will reopen as usual on Wednesday 9th September.

If you require medical assistance while we are closed, please use NHS 111. In an emergency, please call 999.

NHS England is carrying out a national check of GP registration lists, and some patients may have been removed from a GP list without their GP practice requesting it.

❤️ Please don’t worry – we’re on your side.
These removals have not been requested by us, and concerns are being raised across general practice about the process.

👉 Your medical records are safe and remain securely held within NHS systems.

📋 If you still live within our practice area, please contact us to re-register. Your medical records will follow you automatically.

💊 If you take regular medication, are waiting for test results or need a review, please re-register as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to your care.

🚗 Coming to the practice for an appointment? Please allow extra time!

With the Tour of Britain Women taking place in our local area on Thursday 20 August, there will be rolling road closures as the race passes through Clitheroe and surrounding areas. 🚴‍♀️

Some roads may be affected for 30–40 minutes, which could mean journeys take longer than usual.

📅 If you have an appointment with us that day, please leave plenty of extra time for your journey and plan your route in advance.

⏰ We want to make sure you have enough time to arrive for your appointment without feeling rushed.

You may have received a letter asking you to confirm that you’re still registered with your GP practice.

It’s not a scam — it’s part of a national process to make sure GP records are accurate and that people who are still living and using NHS services aren’t removed from their practice list.

Follow the instructions to confirm that you’re still living at your address and registered with your GP practice.

If you don’t respond, you could potentially be removed from the practice list — which may affect your access to GP services.
