Introducing the First Recipient of the Frontline Fleet Pre Hospital Care Support Initiative!
When we launched this initiative, we set out with a simple goal: to place a vehicle where it would make the greatest difference to patients.
After reviewing applications from incredible organisations across the UK, we are proud to announce that the recipient of our fully funded, fully converted Skoda Superb Emergency Response Vehicle is East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme
EMICS provides advanced pre-hospital critical care across the East Midlands, responding to some of the region’s most seriously ill and injured patients alongside NHS ambulance crews, air ambulances and other emergency services.
What stood out throughout the application process was not only the operational need for a second frontline vehicle, but the dedication of the clinicians who volunteer their time to deliver this care. During our discussions, we heard first-hand about doctors finishing long clinical shifts, returning to their day jobs, and then volunteering their evenings and nights responding to 999 emergencies.
Within days of this vehicle entering service, it will be responding to emergency calls across the East Midlands, helping bring advanced critical care to patients when every minute matters.
Thank you to every organisation that applied. The standard was exceptional, which is why we have also committed to supporting two additional organisations through further vehicle conversion packages as part of this initiative. Details to follow in the coming days.
