💝 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – Activities or Befriending

Do you enjoy bringing joy to others? Could you spare a few hours each week to make a real difference?
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help brighten the days of our residents. In this rewarding role, you might:
✅ Support trips and outings
✅ One to one befriending/building friendships
✅ Lend a hand to our activity coordinator
✅ Share a skill—like music, crafts, flower arranging, or storytelling
You’ll meet new people, build meaningful connections, and become part of a vibrant, caring community.
✨ Full training and support provided

👯‍♀️💃GIRL TRIP 💃👯‍♀️

‘MHA Sunday’ was led by our Chaplain Sam at St John’s Methodist Church Llandudno this morning.
Sam spoke about the ‘second cup’ and the importance of coming alongside people who are lonely especially older folk. We had invitations to give out and a cup to decorate. Two residents and staff member Adrian joined us from Coed Craig as well as wife of Rev David, along with Hayley our activities coordinator and her lovely daughter Emma, and finally thanks to Derek Hall for preaching.

Our Chaplain, Sam, assisted Reverend Malcolm Weatherby in administering communion to residents at Coed Craig on Sunday. He spoke about footballers in the World Cup ⚽️ who have been demonstrating their faith in Jesus Christ and how important it is. Malcolm’s wife Alison read the Bible and we enjoyed a time of fellowship with family members also attending. Big thanks to the Methodist Church who have been providing ministers and lay people monthly to assist with ministry at Coed Craig 🍷🍞

Yesterday we enjoyed a performance from the fuzzy ducks ukulele band. All residents,staff and family members enjoyed listening and singing along. Thank you Mike and the rest of the band we hope to see you again soon.

This week we celebrated the 59th anniversary of our dear resident David and his lovely wife Kathy. We hope you both had a lovely day together ⛪️ 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏼 ❤️
