I’d like to wish Di-Ann all the best as lady president of Abergele Rotary Club. It was also lovely to be mentioned I enjoyed every minute of my time in Rotary. When you see any Rotarian serving our community please support them.

A new Rotary year brings new ideas, new opportunities, and a renewed commitment to serving our community.

This week, Abergele Rotary Club proudly welcomed Di-Ann Hogg as our President for the 2026–27 Rotary year. Di-Ann becomes the second woman to serve as President of Abergele Rotary Club, following Hannah Walmsley, who made history as our first female President.

We were delighted to be joined by Mayor Alan Hunter and his wife Cheryl, along with Assistant Governor Pauline Hogan, as we celebrated the start of a new Rotary year.

As we begin the year, we’re reminded that Rotary isn’t just about meetings – it’s about making a difference.

Throughout the year you’ll find us:

💙 Supporting local people through our InCare community meal.

🪣 Collecting for charities including St Kentigern’s Hospice and Marie Curie.

🎅 Bringing festive cheer with our Santa Float, helping to raise funds for local sports clubs and community groups.

🤝 Working alongside local charities and community groups to help where we’re needed most.

Every project, every collection and every hour volunteered helps us Create Lasting Impact in Abergele and beyond.

If you’ve ever wondered what Rotary is all about, we’d love to meet you. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Memory Lane Room at Yr Hen Ysgol, Abergele.

Whether you have a new idea, a particular skill, or simply a desire to give something back to your community, there’s a place for you at Rotary.
