🎉 We Did It! 🎉

The staff, friends, and even a few four-legged supporters from Rosemount Care Home have successfully completed our 12-mile sponsored walk! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🐾

There are definitely a few sore feet, aching knees and tired paws today, but it was all worth it. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support, encouragement and donations we have received so far.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped us reach the finish line. Your determination, teamwork and good humour made the day a real success.

A big welcome back to Eddie McDonald, who once again came and sang for us here at Rosemount 🎤

Eddie's charisma and energy always brighten up the place, and it was wonderful to have him back entertaining everyone with a fantastic selection of upbeat songs. Residents, staff and family members all joined in the fun, singing along to classics from Elvis and Bobby Vee. 🪇🎷🎸

There was plenty of toe-tapping, dancing and reminiscing as Eddie brought so many favourite songs to life. Thank you, Eddie, for another brilliant afternoon - we can't wait to see you again! 💙

The Rosemount team are officially in training mode for our 12 mile sponsored walk this Saturday! 👟

Staff have been getting their steps in all over the place... and we may have even roped in a few children and dogs for extra practice too 👧 🐶

Every mile walked is helping us raise funds for improvements and renewals at Rosemount, helping us keep our lovely home feeling warm, welcoming and comfortable for our residents 💙

Here at Rosemount we had a very special surprise guest appearance from Porter, the talented 9 year old daughter of Nicola one of our staff members (and nanna Avril works here too!)

Porter loves singing, dancing and performing, and being a huge fan of musicals she treated us to songs from The Sound of Music right through to Moana! 🎶🎤

Our residents absolutely loved watching her perform and were full of smiles throughout. Thank you Porter for bringing so much joy, confidence and energy to Rosemount today - we think you're a star in the making! 🌟🤩

Homecare clothing visited Rosemount today hosted by Paul and Sandie 👖👗👕

Residents and staff had great fun looking through all the beautiful clothes and treating themselves to some new outfits.

A special mention goes to Alan, one of our wonderful family members, who kindly modelled one of the outfits for us - and we have to say, he wore it very well! 😊

What a fantastic afternoon we had today with our singer Pete! 🎤 🎶

Residents were up on their feet dancing and singing and the room was full of high spirits. 💃🏼 🕺

Pete had us all enjoying classics from The Beatles, ABBA, Neil Diamond and even some popular
Eurovision favourites - so Thank you Pete for another wonderful afternoon of entertainment at Rosemount 💙
