Did you know that acupuncture is good for mental and emotional wellbeing as well as physical issues.
Research shows that acupuncture can significantly reduce feelings of anxiety and/or depression. It stimulates the body’s parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) to initiate relaxation, and calms the 'fight or flight’ response - thus treatments slow heart and breathing rates, lower blood pressure and divert energy back to digestion which can help with IBS symptom flare ups, for example.
