This Father's Day, we'd like to celebrate the dads, grandads, stepdads, and father figures who make a difference every day.

We're giving away a Father's Day breakfast for one deserving dad at The Lane, Deal.

To enter, simply nominate your dad (or a father figure who means the world to you) in the comments below. Tell us why they're so special and why they deserve a treat this Father's Day.

Calling all knitters, crocheters, and crafters in Deal 🧶❤️

E.B. Cavell Funeral Directors are reaching out to our local community to support a very special “basket of hearts” initiative.

During the difficult time of losing a loved one, we want to offer families a small but meaningful comfort. These handmade hearts are given in pairs — one to stay with their loved one, and one to keep close.

How you can help:
• We’re asking for donations of handmade heart pairs
• We’re happy to provide wool if needed
• We’re also considering hosting a monthly “craft & chatter” session at our branch — would anyone be interested?

If you’d like to take part, you’re very welcome to drop your creations into the branch or post them to us.
