At VTS Medical we aim to provide high quality medical support in a flexible & imaginative way to meet the needs of both event organisers and participants. To this end we will:
*Ensuring that medical treatment is imm

ediately available, and is provided to the highest possible standard, in line with current available guidelines for best practice
*Ensuring that our staff are appropriately qualified & receive ongoing development relevant to their individual needs & the specialist requirements of the service
*Monitoring & auditing our activity to ensure that we are providing the best possible service, and develop new guidelines & protocols where necessary
*Responding positively to any complaints or criticisms of the service we offer at future events
*Respecting the confidentiality & autonomy of our patients, and act in their best interests at all times
*Ensuring that our service is readily accessible to all individuals & groups attending events at which we work, and that no patient is disadvantaged due to race, gender, religion, disability or sexual preference
*Actively seeking to develop close working relationships with all statutory and voluntary organisations involved with the provision of an integrated medical and welfare service, including the receiving hospital trusts
*Where possible deliver a complete package of medical treatment to an individual patient, to minimise the impact of an event on the local health service infrastructure. Where ongoing care is required, we will communicate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuation of care
*Operating in a way that minimises the risks to the Health, Safety & Welfare of our staff & others who may be affected by their actions and activities.

The last two weeks have certainly kept the VTS Medical team busy, providing Healthcare Professional (HCP) led medical cover across a fantastic range of events and venues.

From community celebrations and family events to corporate functions and high-performance automotive experiences, our clinicians have been on hand to ensure attendees, staff and organisers had the reassurance of professional medical support throughout.

It's with a huge amount of disappointment we have to write this.

Having taken advice from the landowner, local riders and officials, it is with deep regret that Norwich Viking MCC Ltd has been forced to cancel the Centenary & Dennis Slaughter Trophy Motocross due to be held at Lyng on Sunday 26th July.

We have not taken this decision lightly, but with the prolonged heatwave and drought with no rain forecast in the next week or so, we do not have sufficient water or access to enough water to put down on the track to make it safe for racing. Riders safety is paramount in our thoughts.

All riders having paid their entry fee will receive a full refund including fees via Sport80 within the next few days.

Provisionally, the club plans to re-schedule this event on Sunday 25th October. Full details will be posted on social media and on our website as soon as it has been confirmed.

👑 Event Medical Cover | Cambridge 👑
Today, the VTS Medical team were proud to provide professional Event Medical Cover at The Welding Institute (TWI), Granta Park, Cambridge, supporting The Weld Join Expo.
The event was made even more special with a Royal Visit from HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, highlighting the importance of innovation, engineering excellence, and skills development within the welding and joining industry.
Our team were on hand throughout the visit and event to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees, exhibitors, organisers, and guests.
A fantastic day supporting a prestigious event, and a privilege to play a small part in ensuring everything ran safely and smoothly.

🎯A beautiful morning in the Norfolk countryside as VTS Medical provides dedicated Medical & First Aid cover for Break Charity’s Breaking Clays event. 🌳
The peaceful surroundings may be serene, but they’re regularly punctuated by the sharp crack of the clay shoot — a fantastic day bringing people together for an important cause.
With over 150 participants taking part, this event is raising vital funds and awareness for the incredible work carried out by Break Charity, supporting children, young people, and families across the region. 💙
Our team is on-site delivering professional, responsive care, including a Registered Healthcare Professional / Specialist Nurse, ensuring the highest standard of medical readiness throughout the day.

✅ 24hr on-call team still going strong… powered by coffee ☕ and a few matchsticks to keep the eyes open! 😅

A huge well done to all the runners still pushing through—your determination is incredible. And yes… we can confirm, after 24 hours… the runners are still smiling! 😄🏃‍♂️
