Handy to know 💡

Bank holidays often mean fewer people on site but your first aid cover still needs to hold up.

HSE guidance is clear: employers need to plan for annual leave and holiday absences when working out first aid cover, not just a standard week.

If your only trained first aider is off today, is someone else able to step in?

It's worth a five-minute check before you're back in tomorrow.

Meet the man behind the most precisely laminated poster in the training room.

Aaron has been part of the FabTraining team for a good while now, and the "Label the Respiratory System" poster has featured on our pre hospital care courses for even longer, but never before has it reached this level of precision.

Give him a laminator and a guillotine and the primary school teacher in him comes out every single time. The edges. The alignment. The sheer commitment to a perfectly straight line. We did not know a poster could be levelled up this much, and yet here we are.

Proud does not begin to cover it he's an absolute legend but the question is - guess how long it took him?

Anyone can get a good review after one session - that's easy.

What is harder to earn is a customer who keeps coming back. This is Trisha's third round of training with us and they are still singing our praises!

That is not a one-off compliment but someone telling us that they actually have confidence in our training and it actually changes how they works.

It’s always exciting when you become approved to offer a new course because there’s always new toys to play with!

Fire safety 4 years ago meant investing in a range of fire safety equipment including refillable extinguishers so our delegates can “have a go”.

Since then we have delivered countless fire safety sessions and given workplace fire wardens the skills and confidence to get the job done (as well as having plenty of giggles along the way!)
