💜 When anxiety and depression become part of everyday life…

Sometimes anxiety doesn’t look like panic.
It can feel like your mind simply won’t switch off. Constant overthinking. Worrying about things that haven’t happened. Feeling on edge, overwhelmed or unable to relax — even when there’s no obvious reason why.

And depression can be just as difficult to explain.
It can make the things you once enjoyed feel like hard work. Getting out of bed can feel like an achievement. You may withdraw from people, lose motivation, feel exhausted all the time or simply feel like you’re going through the motions.
Sometimes you can be smiling, working and carrying on with life while inside you’re struggling enormously. 💔

And that's the thing about anxiety and depression — they can affect so much more than your thoughts.
They can impact your sleep, energy, confidence, relationships, concentration and your ability to simply feel like you.

🌿 This is where Reiki may offer a little space to breathe.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that encourages deep relaxation and provides time away from the noise and demands of everyday life.
During a Reiki session, you can simply stop.

No expectations.
No pressure to talk.
No need to explain how you're feeling.
Just a calm, safe space where you can switch off for a while and allow yourself to rest. ✨

Many people find Reiki deeply relaxing and say they leave feeling calmer, lighter and more centred.
Reiki isn't a replacement for medical or psychological support, and I would always encourage anyone experiencing anxiety or depression to seek appropriate professional help. But complementary therapies such as Reiki can sit alongside that support and give you some valuable time to care for you.

I’m a Reiki Master and a member of the UK Reiki Federation (UKRF), so when you come to me, you can feel reassured that Reiki is being offered professionally, ethically and with your wellbeing at the heart of the treatment.

🌿Living with Chronic Pain? I Understand.🌿

Chronic pain isn't always something you can see — but that doesn't make it any less real.

I live with chronic pain myself as a result of nerve damage, so I understand how frustrating and exhausting it can be when pain becomes part of everyday life. I know that feeling of having to adapt, pace yourself and sometimes simply get through the day.

That's one of the reasons I believe so strongly in creating a space where people living with pain can relax, feel listened to and have some time where their body isn't being asked to do anything.

Holistic therapies aren't a cure for chronic pain or a replacement for medical treatment, but they can be a lovely addition to your overall approach to managing it.
