Memorial Evening – Wednesday 16th September

Lauren and Vinnie will be available in our office (the small lodge on the left hand side of the main gates) from 4pm to 8pm to chat about all things memorial-related.

Our Memorial Consultant, Lauren, has a few appointment spaces available over the next few days for anyone who would like to have a chat about memorials and remembrance:

Lauren is here to support families who would like to talk through arranging a memorial for a loved one who has passed away, whether that’s something in our Gardens of Remembrance or another form of memorial.

She can also help anyone who would like to make arrangements in advance for themselves, so their wishes can be discussed and recorded for when the time comes.

The team are back in the gardens!🏡

The team are all back after their well-deserved annual leave and getting stuck into some much-needed work around the Gardens of Remembrance🪴

Marc was busy yesterday carrying out more work in our Top Lawn area, and today he’ll be joining Alex in our Field of Dreams area.
Their focus at the moment is on the individual private memorial gardens, giving them some much-needed TLC with weeding and edging🌿

🌿 A little garden update 🌿

We just wanted to give you a quick update on our gardens
We are aware that there are currently areas where the grass needs cut and some weeds and overgrown areas that need attention. Unfortunately, the damp weather this morning meant that we were unable to get out with the lawnmowers and make as much progress as we had hoped.

Over the past eight weeks, our team have all taken some well-deserved annual leave and enjoyed some of the lovely weather we have had. While this has understandably had an impact on the upkeep of the gardens, the full team will be back together on Monday and we will be getting back out into the grounds.
Our main focus next week will be weeding and improving the memorial gardens, particularly in the Field of Dreams, Side Lawn and Top Lawn areas.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we catch up.

We offer a wide range of urns, with options to suit different tastes, wishes and preferences - from delicate glass and finely detailed pewter to traditional brass designs.

For those looking for a more environmentally conscious option, we also have biodegradable urns available, which can be placed in the garden, in the ground or in water.

And for families who would like to keep a small portion of their loved one’s ashes at home, or share them between family members, our keepsake urns provide a special and personal way to do so.

🌿 Grounds Update – Top Lawn Area 🌿

Following conversations with families who have loved ones within our Top Lawn area, we recognise that the grounds are currently not looking to the standard that we, or our families, expect.

While work has already been carried out in this area, we acknowledge that there is still more to be done.

Our team will therefore be focusing their attention on the Top Lawn today, carrying out a number of improvements including:

🌱 Edging and tidying the private gardens
🌿 Weeding throughout the area
🌳 Pruning and thinning trees and bushes
🍃 General tidying and maintenance

We appreciate the feedback we have received from families and thank you for your patience while our team works to improve the area.

We understand how important it is that the grounds provide a peaceful, well-cared-for place for families visiting their loved ones, and we are committed to bringing the Top Lawn back to the standard it deserves. 💚
