A lovely, relaxing afternoon in our day centre today. Residents enjoyed playing dominoes, completing jigsaws, watching tv and catching up over a warm cup of tea and a delicious cookie. Sometimes the simplest moments are the most special.

Today our residents enjoyed lovely afternoon of baking and conversation as we made some delicious homemade cheese scones. There was plenty of chatting, laughter, singing and teamwork along the way, with our wonderful gentleman lending a helping hand by grating the cheese and getting everything ready for baking.

A busy and creative day at the home! We've had a wonderful day full of fun, relaxation and creativity. This morning our lovely ladies enjoyed a pampering hand care session, choosing their own hand creams and nail vanish. This afternoon, everyone got creative by painting their vey own plant pots. We're looking forward to Friday, when we'll be planting flowers.

Residents enjoyed having an Indian culture afternoon, where we discussed their cultural traditions especially the Festival of Colours and later enjoyed some of their food, onion bhajis, vegetable samosas, butter chicken curry and chicken tikka pieces. What a wonderful afternoon about different cultures.
