**Summer Woodland Wonders is open for booking! **
With a theme of Africa, taking place on 4th and 5th August, our forest school is open for booking now. We have a minimum donation set to £5 for a heavily subsidised place, but we do have a limited number of fully charity funded places for those who could not come otherwise.
Please note we no longer ask for the registration form, but now require more details on every booking. This is to ensure we have the information we need in good time to keep every child safe in good time without exception.

** New Session Alert! **
Open for booking now! 2.5 hour workshop
On this we’ll create decorative papers using acrylic paints. We’ll then create and bind a simple
accordion fold book, using the decorative papers to cover the book. We’ll then create a simple
metal embossed monogram to add a decorative detail to the book.
All materials will be provided. Dress for mess!

**Important changes to our services**
As most will know, Breathing Space has been very fortunate to be funded by the National Lottery for the last few years, which has meant the vast majority of our services were free to all. That funding has now come to an end, so in order to continue the services we provide, we now have a minimum ticket price on some of our services. If that would be a barrier to you attending, please rest assured there will always be a limited number of free places reserved, and all you will need to do is email for the code to bring the cost to £0, no questions asked. We thank you for your understanding on this necessary decision.

Wear Your Words Paper Beads Bracelet Workshop, Thursday 18th June, 1pm.
In this workshop we’ll create a bracelet using hand made paper beads. First we’ll decorate the paper that we’ll make the beads with. We’ll use acrylic paint to create the background paper, and then add words or phrases that have a personal meaning. This paper will then be cut up to make the beads. Once the beads have been made and dried, we’ll add the beads to a cord bracelet. The finished bracelet will be a lovely way to carry those personal words around with you. All materials will be provided.

Opening for booking 9am tomorrow, our May Woodland Wonders sessions are minibeast themed!
Breathing Space can currently still contribute up to 100% if the cost for those who need it. Booking direct is recommended via our booking system but if you need help with booking please email [email protected]

** New Session Alert!**
Available to book tomorrow from 9am is our Sketch and Stroll session with Carrie Dennison. This workshop is designed specifically for beginners and for those who say they ‘can’t draw’! Of course, those with sketching experience are very welcome too.
This workshop is all about getting outside and enjoying some fresh air, finding shapes and colour in the landscape around St Michael’s & All Angels Church, and producing small 6cm square sketches.
We’ll do a few simple drawing exercises in the church first, and then we’ll move outside to observe the landscape, details and colours around us. All materials will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, and sturdy shoes for walking.
If the weather is really bad, then we’ll have plenty of sketching opportunities inside the church.
