It was a very busy, very exciting day at Portal Leith yesterday.

The Shore was absolutely jumping on the second day of the Festival.

The energy in the shop was incredible - between Sam’s synchronicity cards and Derek’s playlist, the synchronicities were popping left, right and centre.

We got a visit from the gorgeous whose reiki-infused, home-grown cleansing herb bunches (which felt like they were literally radiating heat!). They’re available in the shop now.

We had tarot from our bud Jenni, who’s back today for more of the same- drop us a message if you fancy a reading. Or just pop in and soak up the magick. We’d love to see you! 😍

As we know, good things very often come in small packages, and that was definitely true of our day yesterday!

Derek introduced his new wee Portal Ghosts- these are created, painted & finished, individually by hand, making each ghost unique. Get your hands on one from the first batch while you can!

We also decided to do our bit during Pride month by creating ‘Wee Bottles of Pride’ and little Rainbow Bags full of beautiful, colourful crystal chips and nuggets. All profits from these sales will go to our friends over at (who we collect donations for throughout the year).

As you can see by our t shirts and totes, we’ve been having a bit of fun transferring our art onto stuff! Right now in The Portal you’ll find totes with the shop logo, Sam’s Persevere & graffitied Kirkgate Vic statue and Derek’s black cat designs. The only question is, what else should go on a tote…?!
