A big welcome to Zofia, the newest member of our Coordination Team 💙🥳

Many of you will already know Zofia, as she has been a valued part of our team for the past three years. During that time, Zofia has gained a wealth of hands on experience, building relationships with the people we support and developing a real understanding of their individual needs, as well as the day to day realities of delivering great care.

We’re delighted that Zofia is now bringing all of that experience and knowledge into our Coordination Team, where she’ll be supporting our carers and helping to coordinate care that reflects what matters most to each person we support.

Sam joined our team earlier this year with no previous experience working in care, but from the very beginning he has embraced his role with enthusiasm, compassion and a genuine passion for supporting others.

In only a short space of time, Sam has become a highly valued member of our team and is incredibly well liked by his colleagues, the people we support and their families. 💙

He consistently demonstrates compassion, respect and kindness, and his genuine passion for his role shines through in the care and support he provides every day.

ProCare Bear wore his own matching oxygen cannula and as you can see, the pair made quite the team and Janice had a good giggle 🥰

🗣️ Are you an employee of Professional Carers - Could you help shape the future of your workplace ?

We’re exploring an exciting new initiative called the Carer Collective – a group of passionate volunteer carers from across all services, who will come together informally, to represent the voice of our workforce.

As a member of the Carer Collective, you’ll have the opportunity to:

✨ Share the views and experiences of your colleagues with key decision makers, outside of normal team meetings and supervisions
💬 Raise common concerns affecting the workforce
💡 Suggest new ideas and improvements
👏 Tell us what’s working well
🤝 Help your Managers and Directors better understand how our teams feel about their roles and the support they receive.

We’re looking for carers who:

✔️ Have strong relationships with colleagues
✔️ Are confident speaking on behalf of others
✔️ Listen to different perspectives
✔️ Can provide constructive feedback
✔️ Carers who can commit to attending paid focus groups, every 3 months
✔️ Have a passion in making a meaningful difference.

Hip Hip Hooray it’s the Burryman day! 🔔

A huge thank you to The Burryman for adding Professional Carers to his route this year and stopping by to visit us. We absolutely love being part of our community and its tradition’s💙

Of course, Pro Care Bear couldn’t miss out on the fun… he even got his very own burr! 🧸

Sebastian did the honours and gave the Burryman his dram of whisky for good luck before we managed to get everyone together for a photo

A big thank you as well to our lovely team members who managed to stop by and join us for a photo.
