💰 Cash Rewards Are Rolling In!

Shout out to Susan T, Gillian N and Zanele T, who this week have earnt a combined £310 by referring 3 new staff members to join our team.

This is exactly what Care Friends is all about — great people recommending great people. The longer those new team members stay with us, the more rewards can be earned, so every successful referral could keep paying off. 🌟

This week, social care made primetime television. 📺

Have you seen it yet? 👀

Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together shines a much-needed light on the realities of care in the UK. 💙

The BBC documentary explores the experiences of people who rely on care, the families who support them, and the dedicated care workers who help people live independently every day. 🏡

It is a powerful reminder of just how vital care is — not only as a service, but as a lifeline for individuals, families, and communities.

At Professional Carers, we see every day the difference compassionate, reliable care can make. We are proud to stand alongside the incredible people working across the care sector and to continue championing the value of care workers everywhere. 👏

In case you missed it, Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Happy Pride Month to all our LGBTQ+ communities, colleagues, carers and the people we support 🌈

Pride Month is a time to celebrate diversity, recognise the courage and contributions of LGBTQ+ people, and reaffirm our commitment to creating inclusive, respectful and supportive communities for everyone.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, respected and able to be their authentic self, whether they’re receiving support, providing care, or working alongside us.

This month, we celebrate the richness that diversity brings to our communities and continue working towards a future where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.

Wishing you all a happy, safe and inspiring Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈

✨ Meet Sue & Ella ✨

Sue, one of our wonderful carers based in our North West branch this week had the privilege of working alongside her daughter Ella, has decided to follow in her mum’s footsteps and join us !

For a family-run company like ours, moments like this should be celebrated. When people working for us have experienced our values, culture and support firsthand, then ask their own family members to become part of the team, that speaks volumes 🔊✅

If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for you !

Strong women. Big hearts. Mother-daughter dream team 💙💪🏻

Mental Health Awareness Week is 11th - 17th May 💚

This week is an important reminder that mental health matters for everyone — our care teams, our service users, families, friends, and our wider community.

At Professional Carers, we know that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it’s important to remember that support is available and no one should feel alone. Whether you’re caring for others, receiving support yourself, or supporting a loved one, taking care of your mental wellbeing is so important.

That’s why we continue to provide support through our Employee Wellbeing Hub and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), offering access to wellbeing resources, confidential support, practical advice, and guidance for everyday challenges.

We also encourage everyone to take small positive steps each day:
✨ Practice self-care
✨ Stay connected
✨ Manage stress
✨ Maintain healthy routines

Sometimes a conversation, a short break, or simply checking in with someone can make a real difference.

If you or someone you know could benefit from additional support, please remember help is available.
