Dawn was an Army Nurse based in Northern Ireland, where she had met her late husband through the role. Despite her courage, resilience, and the challenges she endured through her career, she said that she was now struggling 😔

Dawn visited @‌ModernMobility Blackburn and felt uplifted, after becoming the new ecstatic owner of the Mini Crosser x1. When Dawn was diagnosed with a long-term condition, she had admitted defeat with her mobility, and now that had all changed after visiting our Blackburn store and her life changed

The Motability Scheme is designed to improve the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities. You can exchange your qualifying mobility allowance for one of our selected mobility scooters or powered wheelchairs 🛵🦼

The process is stress-free, and we’ll be with your every step of the way by:
✅ Checking your eligibility and discussing your needs in-store or online
✅ Booking a demonstration for you to test-drive hand selected options for your requirements
✅ Order your new product and assist you with the relevant paperwork
✅ Deliver your new mobility aid straight to your door

You can choose from a range of mobility aids available on the scheme, including small, medium, and large mobility scooters, or standard, complex, and prescriptive powerchairs, depending on your lifestyle and mobility needs. Those who are entitled to PIP, DLA, AFIP, and WPMS benefits can qualify for joining the mobility scheme

🙌 Meet our new customer for life 🙌

David needed a new mobility scooter upgrade after his previous one didn't fulfil his needs while taking care of his wife who is fighting the good fight against cancer. He needed a robust mobility solution 💪

David passed Modern Mobility Blackburn and was talking to members of staff handing out our latest ‘Unfold Your Summer’ leaflets outside. Speaking with our Mobility Specialist, Sharon, he mentioned that his scooter was not fulfilling his needs anymore and he wanted to try a more reliable local mobility shop after experiencing issues previously with another

Sharon learnt what he was looking for in a scooter and discussing options for David to consider, such as part-exchange and insurance cover. After gathering all the information Sharon needed, she recommended David to try out the Sunrise S410 HP Mobility Scooter – and David instantly fell in love 😍
