Japanese art and aesthetics have always been a source of inspiration for me. I love The Great Wave, the quiet poetry of minimalism where every detail carries meaning, its deep connection to and reverence for nature, its rich symbolism, and, of course, its unwavering dedication to craftsmanship and profound respect for heritage. The more I learn, the more I admire it and the more I fall in love with it …

So, you can imagine how excited I was to shoot an editorial for Elle Magazine featuring the Japanese designer with Ioriya Costume designer & performance-IORIYA｜Japan-いおり屋-MFW2026 - where couture meets tradition with an epic contemporary twist.
