Here are some photos showing our work today, even in this sweltering heat. ☀️🥵

Early this morning, Tom was at St Peter and Paul’s carefully preparing the interment plot, making everything ready for the final resting place of a couples ashes.🪏

We were also honoured to conduct a funeral service at the beautiful Portsmouth Cathedral today, with our hearse and two limousines. ⛪️
Despite the extreme temperatures, our bearers stayed refreshed with cold water and ice lollies.
As shown in the pictures, the team removed their jackets during parts of the service for comfort. But remained fully suited👔 and properly attired while carrying the coffin and performing all driving duties, keeping a smart, professional standard throughout. The heatwave have been challenging within our profession but here at Coghlans we continue to maintain our professionalism and quality of care to those who we are looking after. ❤️
