Here at TalkPLUS we are team of Therapists, Counsellors and Psychologists who are dedicated to supporting people with common mental health difficulties. We are Your free NHS primary care mental health service covering North East Hants and Farnham arear. We offer easy access to a wide range of helpful tools and therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as recommended by the National

Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Most of our clinics are held in NHS premises in Farnborough, Aldershot, Fleet, Farnham, Yateley and North Camp. However due to the current circumstances we are Online! Offering Video sessions, telephone and instant messaging. I won’t say too much about how nice the weather is… feels like tempting fate a bit.

But I will say this.

After the long, dark stretch we’ve had, everything can start to feel a bit… close.

Heavy, almost.

So if you get a chance today, just get outside for a bit.
No pressure, no big plan. Just a walk.

Look at things you’d normally walk straight past. The buildings, the trees, the flowers starting to come through. Properly notice them.

It sounds simple, but it does something. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, it can help reset your head a little.

Going outside and not knowing what the weather is going to be like… some days it can be between an umbrella, a windbreak and a sombrero.

Our mind can be a little like that. Unpredictable. Changeable.

Not always making much sense. And just like the weather, you don’t have to control it all... just learn how to respond to it.
