My name is Christophe Courtin and I am a certified hypnotherapist with a focus on helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, and depression. I know from personal experience how debilitating these conditions can be, having struggled with anxiety disorders myself.

My goal is to assist as many people as possible in overcoming their struggles, whether it’s anxiety, phobias, or depression.

I believe that change can happen rapidly, so you don’t have to spend months in weekly therapy. I work with clients to develop personalized solutions that are appropriate for them.

I also have experience helping people quit smoking and regain their health, life, and money. As an ex-smoker myself, I understand the challenges and excuses people use to justify their habit. I know that quitting smoking can be difficult, but with the right tools, it can be easy.

In addition to working with clients, I am also an acknowledged supervisor, supporting other hypnotherapists in their work and professional development. As a second-dan black belt and instructor in Aikido, I also use hypnosis and visualization to improve focus and performance in sports and martial arts.

Had a great day at London Zoo today, even when visiting the "In With The Spiders" exhibit. It’s a walk-through room where you are completely face-to-face with free-roaming, large web-spinning spiders. No glass, no barriers. 😱

I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of them. But I was able to hang out in their space, admire their webs, and even take a few selfies with some of the residents.
I know for some people, the mere thought of this room makes them want to torch the place or nuke it from orbit. And if that's you, I want you to know something important: You don’t have to live with that phobia forever.

Through my hypnotherapy practice, I help people rewire these exact automatic terror responses. My goal isn't to make you love the things you fear. The goal is to make them boring. Sometimes, the breakthrough we actually need isn’t the one we went looking for. 🧠✨

A few years ago, Vikkie came to see me for help with weight control. But as we worked together, I noticed some very familiar patterns and traits that looked a lot like ADHD (which explained, among other things, the "dopamining" using cakes). Now, I’m not a doctor and I cannot diagnose, so I gently suggested she might want to look into it. It was a possibility she’d never even considered before.

Fast forward to today, and I received this incredible message.(shared with permission of course)
Vikkie was recently officially diagnosed with both ADHD and autism. That diagnosis has given her profound clarity, completely changing how she views herself and beautifully transforming her relationship with her husband (who was also recently diagnosed).

This hits incredibly close to home for me. I was late-diagnosed with ADHD in my late forties, and my wife was late-diagnosed with AuDHD shortly before that. I know firsthand the immense relief and validation that comes with finally understanding why your brain works the way it does. Also, being able to safely unmask with someone close to you is a breath of fresh air. It’s never just about getting a label; it’s about deeper self-knowledge.

In this case, we might not have achieved those initial weight control goals during our sessions, but I am so incredibly grateful that our time together served as the catalyst for a breakthrough that improved her entire life.

Spreading a little extra love and compassion to all the late-diagnosed neurospicy folks out there today. 🙌
