Like many people, we have been deeply saddened by the recent news from Hull. Our thoughts are with every family affected by what has happened. We understand that events like these can leave people feeling anxious about what happens when they place a loved one into the care of a funeral director.

At Tom Ross & Sons Funeral Directors, we never take that trust for granted. Caring for someone’s loved one is both a privilege and a responsibility, and we treat every person in our care with the same dignity, compassion and respect that we would want for our own family.

As proud members of the National Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), we choose to be independently inspected and voluntarily work to the standards set out in the UK Funeral Director Code. Families also have access to an independent complaints process through SAIF, providing an additional layer of accountability and reassurance.

We know that no words can remove the worry some people may now feel, but we hope it offers comfort to know that we are committed to complete openness, the highest professional standards, and treating every family—and every loved one entrusted to us—with the care, kindness and respect they deserve.
