A much loved mum to Kevan and Karen, a dear mother-in-law to Frank and a loving granny to Noah, a dear aunt to Jan and Kelly and good friend to many. Funeral Service to be held in Andrew Smith's Funeral Home, 17 Tytler Street, Forres on Wednesday, 17th June at 12.30pm, thereafter to Clovenside Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Lisa & the family of the late Douglas (Dougie) Watson, would like to thank all relatives & friends for all the very kind expressions of sympathy, messages, cards, flowers, gifts & meals received during the recent sad & heartbreaking loss of Dougie.
Thanks to all medical staff who cared for Dougie during his illness, including Neurosurgeon Mr Bodkin, Oncologist Dr Moleron, Specialist Cancer Nurse Margaret Whibley, Stroke Ward Dr Grays hospital & FNCT & District Nursing Team at Forres Health Centre.
Thanks to Humanist Celebrant Janet Donnelly for conducting the most beautiful & fitting service & to Scott Oliphant for his impeccable playing of the pipes.
Huge thank you to Andrew, Liz & Kelly for their outstanding care, support & kindness with all arrangements for Dougie's funeral.
Thank you also to The Laichmoray Hotel for the excellent catering & the hospitality received by the huge turnout after Dougies Service.
Finally, thank you to everyone who paid their respects at Moray Crematorium & also those who attended the service online.
