⚠️ PRESCRIPTION LINE ⚠️

The prescription phone line is currently disabled to allow for essential maintenance to take place. To request your prescription please use one of the following options:

- email your request to [email protected]

- submit a request via Engage Consult https://engage.gp/85887/services

- hand your written request in at reception

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will update this post later today when the prescription line is back in use.

Our online Engage Consult service can be used to request help for specific conditions or general medical advice. Sick notes (fit notes) can be requested and there is also an admin option where you can request prescriptions or GP letters etc.

Requests can be submitted during the following times:
• Medical requests: 8am - 12pm (Monday – Friday)
• Admin requests: 8am – 4pm (Monday – Friday)

Please be aware that the Medical Requests section may close earlier than 12pm once daily capacity has been reached. Capacity depends on the number of clinicians available each day.

If you have an urgent medical issue outside of these hours, or when capacity has been reached, please contact the practice on 01346 518088. A member of our administration team will submit an Engage Consult on your behalf.

UPDATE 04/05 - We have been advised that our phones have not transferred to out of hours. The practice is closed to patients today and we will reopen tomorrow. This will be escalated tomorrow and we can only apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. If you require urgent medical attention, please call 111.

❗️Practice Name Change – Important Notice❗️

From 1 April 2026, our practice will be known as Finlayson Medical Practice LLP, instead of Finlayson Street Surgery.

The only change is our website address, which is now:
www.finlaysonmedicalpractice.co.uk

All other contact details, including our phone number, address, and services, remain the same.

**PATIENT NOTICE**

Please be aware that building works will be taking place at the surgery from tomorrow, Tuesday 17th March 2026 for up to 12 weeks.

While the practice will remain open as normal, there may be some noise or minor disruption during this time.
