🎃🍬 A Spooktacular Visit from Our Trick-or-Treaters! 🍬🎃

We were delighted to welcome some fantastic trick-or-treat visitors to St Modans Care Home on Saturday! 👻✨

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the wonderful costumes and were especially impressed by how polite and friendly the children were. There were lots of smiles, chats and admiration for the creativity on display

It was lovely to be part of the Halloween celebrations and share some sweet treats with our young visitors. We hope everyone enjoyed their sweets and had a brilliant Halloween! 🧡

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day so special for our residents.

🎃👻 Halloween Has Arrived at St Modans Care Home! 👻🎃

After weeks of decorating and preparing, our Halloween celebrations were finally here, and what a fantastic afternoon it was!

Residents and colleagues embraced the occasion by dressing up and joining in the fun, while the talented and wonderfully entertaining Stewart Whyte kept everyone singing, dancing and smiling throughout the party 🎶

The festivities also included a round of traditional apple dooking 🍎, a delicious feast and a spectacularly spooky ice cream cake created by the talented team at Bicocchi's Ice Cream Shop 🍦

From laughter and music to great company and tasty treats, it was an afternoon filled with fun, friendship and memorable moments for everyone involved. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. We loved every minute of it! 🕸️✨

🚜💚 A Wonderful Surprise for Eddie at St Modans Care Home! 💚🚜

What a special afternoon it was for Eddie when his grandson, Alister, and granddaughter, Lesley-Ann, paid a surprise visit to St Modans during a tractor run held in aid of their close friend, Robert Clark.

It was a fantastic sight to see the parade of John Deere tractors passing by, bringing excitement and plenty of smiles to everyone watching 🚜

Eddie was delighted to spend time with his family, and several of our residents and colleagues also enjoyed taking in the wonderful display. The visit sparked lots of conversation and brought the local community right to our doorstep. 🌟

Moments like these are truly special, creating lasting memories and bringing generations together in the most meaningful way. 💚

Margaret Celebrates Her 80th Birthday at St Modans Care Home

A very special milestone was celebrated at St Modans as Margaret marked her 80th birthday. 🎂💐

Margaret spent her special day surrounded by loved ones and colleagues, making the occasion one to remember. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate such an important birthday with the people closest to her.

From birthday wishes to time spent in good company, the day was all about Margaret. Everyone at St Modans would like to wish her a very happy 80th birthday and many congratulations on this special occasion. 💖

🎥❤️ Wilma was fair trickit when we got to Morrisons in the Broch today!

Wilma was keen for a trip to get a loaf and some milk, so she and Pamela enjoyed a lovely wee walk up to the shop together. Both ladies thoroughly enjoyed getting out and about, and Wilma especially loved having a lookie round Morrisons to see what was there.

A simple outing, plenty of fresh air, and lots of smiles all round. 😊🍞🥛

💕😀 Friendship Club Fun at St Modans! 😀💕

There was lots of laughter, friendship and the delicious smell of freshly made pancakes at our Friendship Club today!

Some of our lovely ladies gathered together in the lounge for a catch-up over tea and coffee, enjoying good company and plenty of chat ☕

Lee-Anne took on pancake duty, with Chef Paul popping by to make sure everything was up to standard! 😄👨‍🍳 Not one to miss out on the fun, Paul soon found himself making a few pancakes for the ladies too.

The pancakes were such a hit that everyone was back for seconds... and even thirds! The wonderful aroma soon drifted through the home, tempting other residents and colleagues to stop by and enjoy a tasty treat of their own.

The afternoon was filled with singing, conversation and warm welcomes as we spent time getting to know Marion, who has recently joined the St Modans family 💖

Our Friendship Club is a fantastic way to bring people together, helping new residents feel at home, build friendships and develop a real sense of belonging within our community 🏡✨

🐾💛 A Heartwarming Visit from Sapphie and Ellie! 💛🐾

There was plenty of excitement at St Modans as we welcomed back Sapphie and Ellie for another special visit 🐶✨

Our residents always look forward to seeing Sapphie, whose sweet and gentle nature brings so much joy to everyone she meets. From enjoying cuddles and treats to showing off her impressive tricks, she certainly knows how to make people smile! 🥰🐾

These visits are about so much more than furry companionship. Spending time with Sapphie often sparks wonderful conversations and cherished memories, as residents reminisce about the pets they once had and the special place they held in their lives 💕🐕✨

A big thank you to Sapphie and Ellie for another lovely afternoon filled with smiles, laughter and treasured moments. We can't wait to see you both again soon! 🌟💛

Residents Help Shape St Modans’ New Autumn Menu

Empty plates and plenty of compliments made it clear that our autumn menu tasting was a hit at St Modans. 🍂🍽️

Residents were invited to take part in our own version of Come Dine With Me, sampling a selection of dishes from the upcoming autumn menu and sharing their thoughts with the team. The lunchtime gathering sparked lots of conversation, with residents discussing their favourite foods, personal tastes and what they'd like to see on the menu in the months ahead.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with residents enjoying the opportunity to have their say while trying some delicious new dishes. As Wesley put it, it's always a good sign when all the plates are empty, along with compliments for the chef and colleagues who helped make the lunch so enjoyable.

Giving residents the chance to share their views is an important part of life at the home, and we're looking forward to serving these dishes again over the coming months. 🍴

🎲✨ A Morning of Dominoes and Good Company! ✨🎲

Some of our residents enjoyed a friendly game of dominoes this morning, and it was the perfect way to spend time together 💛😊

With plenty of concentration, a little friendly competition and lots of conversation along the way, the session was filled with smiles and laughter 🎉🧩

Activities like dominoes are a wonderful way to bring people together, encouraging social connection while enjoying a classic favourite that never goes out of style 🌟
