Well… this isn’t a post we thought we’d ever have to write. 😂
Today we discovered that someone had used a bucket, inside a cupboard, in our sunbed room… as a toilet. 💩
We do, just to confirm, have actual toilet facilities. 🚽
We completely understand that emergencies happen. Bodies are bodies and sometimes they give us approximately 0.3 seconds’ notice.
BUT PLEASE TELL US. 😭
There is absolutely no judgement if you’re caught short or have an accident. Come and grab one of us and we’ll discreetly help you and make sure everything is cleaned and sanitised properly.
Unfortunately, discovering it after the fact meant we had to close the salon early today to carry out a full deep clean. This affected other clients, appointments and our team.
As funny as the sentence “someone pooed in a bucket in the sunbed cupboard” sounds, there are genuine hygiene and health & safety implications when bodily waste is left in a treatment environment.
And, on a human level, finding that someone had done this and simply left it hidden in our salon felt pretty disrespectful to our space and the people who work here.
So our new Luna Aura policy, which we genuinely cannot believe needs to exist:
✨ Emergency? Tell us.
✨ Accident? Tell us.
✨ Need the toilet? Please use the toilet.
✨ Please do not poo in our buckets.
We promise we would MUCH rather help you through an embarrassing moment than discover a surprise in a cupboard later.
