Digital Atelier — Day 03 | Light as Material

Continuing my Reggio-informed Digital Atelier enquiry, today I’m introducing light into the Unity space.

Building slowly through material, colour and transparency, I’m interested in what changes when light becomes part of the relationship.

Rather than working towards a fixed outcome, each experiment leads to the next question.

🌿 What if nature became the third teacher?

Today we swapped toys and instructions for clay, leaves, seeds and whatever we could find around us.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia idea of the environment as the third teacher, I’m exploring how natural loose parts can invite children to touch, arrange, squash, notice and create in their own way.

No finished outcome. No “right” way to make. Just slow play, curiosity and co-learning. 🍃

What could you find outside today and simply place beside some clay?
