Did you know that Pharmacy First Scotland is available to all patients registered with Castlemilk Group Practice?

For a range of common conditions, your local community pharmacist can assess you, offer advice and, where appropriate, provide treatment – without needing to see your GP first.

This can include conditions such as:

✨ Scabies
✨ Ear infections
✨ Sinus Infections
…and many more common conditions.

Pharmacy First Scotland has already provided millions of consultations across Scotland, helping people get the right care closer to home and helping to keep GP appointments available for those who need them most.

Glasgow Fair public holiday reminder

Greater Glasgow and Clyde residents are reminded that GP practices and many pharmacies will be closed on Monday 20th July for the Glasgow Fair bank holiday.

People who need medicines regularly are encouraged to think ahead and ensure they have an appropriate supply of their repeat prescriptions.

Routine medications will not be issued by the GP Out of Hours service.

It's getting hot! With temperatures set to climb over the next couple of days, it’s a great chance to get out and enjoy the mini-heatwave.
And to make sure the sun stays fun, we're issuing some simple tips:

Greater Glasgow and Clyde residents are reminded that GP practices and many pharmacies will be closed on Monday 15 June due to the Bank Holiday.

If you take regular medication, please plan ahead and make sure you have enough repeat prescriptions.

- Routine medications will not be issued by the GP Out of Hours service
- Some community pharmacies will still be open

Castlemilk Group Practice will be closed from 6pm on Friday 22nd May. We re-open at 8:30am on Tuesday 26th May.
