☀️ Top tips for keeping cool in the heat

With temperatures rising, it’s important to take a few simple steps to keep people safe and comfortable, particularly those who may be more vulnerable to the effects of heat.

✔️ Keep individuals out of direct sun during the hottest part of the day (usually between 3-5pm)
✔️ Encourage regular fluid intake
✔️ Keep cool with light, loose clothing
✔️ Use a cool, damp cloth or spray to help lower body temperature
✔️ Keep indoor environments cool by closing curtains or blinds

Supporting people through warm weather conditions is essential in preventing heat-related illness.
