With the family’s kind permission, I’m sharing a little glimpse of a service that was anything but ordinary. ❤️

I felt incredibly humbled and privileged to be entrusted with making this farewell as personal and unique as the gentleman himself.

The family shared what he loved, what made him him, and we were determined to bring a little of that personality into the day. Even the bearers, & myself Lorraine Grindle Mears joined in with the theme — because sometimes a truly personal farewell means going that extra mile.

A service full of personality, individuality and lots of thought — exactly as it should be.

Thank you to the family for allowing me to be part of such a special farewell. 🖤

How we care,grieve,and say goodbye.
The session was very well received, with excellent engagement throughout and a high level of participation,Staff actively contributed to discussions and raised a number of insightful questions, Following the positive feedback and enthusiasm shown, additional training sessions will be arranged to enable more staff members to benefit from the programme,
