Today our focus has been around feelings 😊☹️. One of the children had their first trial day at big school and said they felt scared. We used this opportunity to explore what different feelings we had and how we all currently felt. We done some activities relating to this, sorting the different feelings into the boxes and then read The Colour Monster which helped explore this further 🫶🏼

Today we have been learning about our teeth🦷🪥 We listened to the dentist who told us how to clean our teeth properly in circular motions and why it’s important. They each got a pack to take home with a timer, toothbrush and toothpaste.⏳They each practiced the circular motions cleaning the dirty teeth. They used their pen control to practice the different ways of cleaning and also put in sequence the order in which we clean our teeth. A busy day for our little ones 👧🏼👦🏽

Great day at the Ropsley Heath Railway!🚂 We got to go on both electric and steam trains, which the kids throughly enjoyed! A great day out for the little ones 👦🏼👧🏽

Fantastic day yesterday at Robin Hood Entertainment! 🪩👧🏼👦🏽 The kids loved racing down the fast slides, climbing and jumping their way through the play area, having a meet and greet with Bluey and Peter rabbit and even having a mini rave 👯

We love sunny days at Bright Stars ! Even more so when we take a visit to the farm to see the animals. A lovely day with the children getting to see all the animals, having a play in the indoor soft play and outdoor park 🐴🐷🐑

Happy Easter Everyone! 🐣🐰 We have had a brilliant Easter here at Bright Stars creating Easter bunny biscuits, Easter pictures, collage eggs and going on our own Easter egg hunt 🪺🍫

Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day!📚✏️ Our day was filled with fun activities related to different books. We made our own bookmarks to take home. We made our own Goldilocks porridge which they then got to eat! We decorated rainbow fish with paint papettes and went on a bear hunt practising our pen control. 🐻👧🏼🐟

What a fantastic experience for our little ones today! We journeyed to Grantham College for their aeroplane experience. The children got to go through passport control, security, board the plane and they sat excellently to listen to the lovely college girls go through the safety briefing. They got given colouring, some drinks and snacks and even watched a movie! Before departing and getting given a certificate for how brilliantly they done! Safe to say none of them wanted to leave.✈️💺❤️

Can’t believe Christmas is over! 🎅🏻Just finishing our first week back and the children have been so happy to see eachother and share about their Christmas. We done so many great activities over the festive period….One of our favourite activities before we broke up was creating the crayon baubles. How beautiful are they 🖍️🎄❤️
